Helicopters are one method of travel used in Sunset Country but they are predominantly used for surveying, mining and forestry. Access to the wilderness by tourists is most often done with a fixed wing aircraft - on bush planes such as the DeHaviland Otter, Beaver, the Noorduyn Norseman or the Beech-18.
